Community development encompasses all spheres of life including physical and spiritual needs of the people. For communities to be well of, there should be balance in the way peoples meet their needs. When people lack basic needs, it means that communities will remain underdeveloped. Needs are tools of transformation. Therefore, need in physical and socio- economic terms fuel up the responsibilities that bring about change in people.
Responding to this noble cause, Zam Zam Care Family, comprising of residents from different sub-counties in Kampala and the neighbouring towns initiated a transformative drive in support of community development.Our aim is initially to empower orphans and vulnerable women through capacity building, HIV/AIDS awareness an education, as a way to improve on people’s standards of living.
Orphans
Our target is to ensure that they sustain themselves socially, spiritually and economically. We have made various interventions in all spheres and through various medium, we would like to expand on our intervention under legal framework of a community based organization (CBO) cvalled ZAMZAM CARE FAMILY (For orphans and vulnerable women) to work in different parts of the country.
